Milton Keynes Sensory Services

Our Milton Keynes team are changing their name and look but still delivering the same brilliant service.

We are excited to announce that we have been awarded the contract to continue delivering advice and support to those who are D/deaf, hard of hearing, sight impaired and deafblind across Milton Keynes for the next 4 years on behalf of Milton Keynes Council.

In response to the award, our Team Manager in Milton Keynes stated: “We are excited to be able to continue to work with the local community and further build on the links and relationships we have delivered in recent years. We look forward to working with the community and Council over the next 4 years.”

BID Services has delivered this provision under the name of Sensory Advice Resource Centre (SARC) for a number of years. Following feedback from the community, as part of the transition to the new contract, we will be changing the service name to Milton Keynes Sensory Services, making it clearer who we support and where services are delivered.

The new contract will commence on 1st April 2024 and will continue to offer a range of services including but not limited to:

  • Information and advice
  • Specialist assessments
  • Rehabilitation, orientation and mobility training.
  • Hearing aid support
  • Equipment demonstrations and provisions
  • Eye Clinic Liaison services
