An announcement from our Board of Trustees Chair, Matt Collingwood.
I am happy to announce that we have appointed a new Chief Executive Office to join BID Services and her name is Sinéad Cregan.
Sinéad really impressed the interview panel with her strong background in business development and service transformation, her understanding of BID Services, and her genuine passion and enthusiasm for all of the different people and different communities we serve.
Throughout her career, she has worked closely with many of the communities that BID supports, giving her a strong understanding of the barriers and challenges people can face, and the importance of bridging gaps to ensure services are accessible, inclusive and shaped around the needs of people who use them.
BID Services has already been doing excellent work, and Sinéad will carry on with this work to make sure we continue to grow to help extend the reach and impact of our services.
Sinéad brings considerable experience in developing partnership and creating new opportunities. This will ensure the charity continues to grow and at the same time, supports our people.
This is an important time for a new Chief Executive to be joining BID Services. We know charities are facing a challenging time and protecting our long-term sustainability is important. We must also make sure that we continue to deliver high-quality services to the people we serve.
When Sinéad joins BID, her priorities will be working with our colleagues, trustees, partners and service users, to look at BID’s next 5 year Strategic Plan (2027 – 2032).
Sinéad is currently working for Inspire North as Director of Development and Innovation, where she has the responsibilities for organisational growth, partnership development and service transformation.
We are looking forward to Sinéad joining us in November, when she will be working with Gail Penberthy, our current CEO, before the role is handed over.
