We are seeking a Mentor to join our Deaf Healthy Champions Project in Birmingham. This role is for 37 hours per week until March 2028.
As part of the role you will:
- be responsible for one to one and group activities and identifying risks such as self-harm and suicide in children and young people
- work to improve D/deaf and hard of hearing children and young people’s mental health.
To be successful for this post:
- You will have excellent communication skills.
- You will be able to communicate to a BSL level 2 standard or a native BSL user.
- You will have great interpersonal skills and be highly organised.
- You will be flexible to meet the demands of the service.
