BID Services are recruiting for a Supporting Community Development Worker. This is a key role within the Yardley Neighbourhood Network Scheme (NNS) led by Disability Resource Centre.
As part of the role you will:
- Assist the team to identify and map groups and organisations
- Keeping them informed with Yardley NNS information, advice and opportunities
- Assist the team to deliver regular steering groups and provide crucial administrative support.
To be successful for this post:
- Experience of working with volunteers or community assets,
- Working with disabled people and or people over the age of 50
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Administrative and IT skills The ability to use their initiative and be proactive
