Cumbria Specialist Equipment Support

We offer a specialist equipment support service for D/deaf, hard of hearing and dual sensory impaired residents living in Cumbria. We also provide support to families, carers, professionals and other organisations, working together to help people with hearing loss to live independent lives.

This service includes:

Assessments

Our experienced Technical Officers undertake assessments and where eligible, help people access equipment for use within the home. Assessments can be carried out in the home by prior appointment only.

Specialist Equipment Support

Following an assessment and subject to Care Act eligibility, we can provide equipment such as pager systems, personal and domestic hearing loops, minicom/textphone equipment, home alerting systems and flashing doorbells.
