We provide one to one confidential information, advice and support services across Cumbria for those who are D/deaf hard of hearing or have dual sensory loss and their family/carers. Services are delivered at your home, in the community and remotely.

This service includes:

  • Welfare benefits
  • Housing
  • Debt
  • Employment
  • Understanding and applying for Access to Work
  • Advice on consumer issues and community care
  • Access to Cumbria Council services
  • Advice on access to legal services
  • Information regarding local/national services, activities, training and opportunities available.
  • Support to access local social, leisure and community activities.

Specialist Equipment Support

We can also provide specialist equipment such as pager systems, personal and domestic hearing loops, minicom/textphone equipment, home alerting systems and flashing doorbells.
