Cumbria Information, Advice and Support
We provide one to one confidential information, advice and support services across Cumbria for those who are D/deaf hard of hearing or have dual sensory loss and their family/carers. Services are delivered at your home, in the community and remotely.
This service includes:
- Welfare benefits
- Housing
- Debt
- Employment
- Understanding and applying for Access to Work
- Advice on consumer issues and community care
- Access to Cumbria Council services
- Advice on access to legal services
- Information regarding local/national services, activities, training and opportunities available.
- Support to access local social, leisure and community activities.
Specialist Equipment Support
We can also provide specialist equipment such as pager systems, personal and domestic hearing loops, minicom/textphone equipment, home alerting systems and flashing doorbells.
