Testimonials
“I thought the training was brilliant. It was very insightful gaining an understanding of different types of resources for people that either have a deaf or a visual impairment. By listening to personal experiences, this has allowed me to be more understanding and open-minded. I feel that I am able to take this information back to my team to allow us to be more aware and supportive, whether this be in a work capacity, or in our personal lives. Along with this, Amanda and Joanne were great at delivering the information, they both did it with humour which kept it engaging. Thank you so much!” Feedback from participant attending a Deaf Awareness session.
“I would like to pass my thoughts on to both Amanda and Joanne. Firstly, Amanda’s session was really good, I never knew there were so many gadgets to help, and her stories were a testament to the hard work they do. Joanne was wonderful too, having a deaf mum made it very emotive and personally hit me in the heart (in a lovely way), it made me think about being kinder and more compassionate, her stories and the way she tells them are wonderful and thought-provoking. Thank you both for a wonderful learning session, I have been telling everyone to attend.” Feedback from participant attending a Deaf Awareness session.
