For Employers

We have extensive experience of working with employers to help them recruit and place deaf people into their workplace. There are many benefits of employing deaf people, including having a diverse work force and we work closely with you to raise awareness of deaf people’s skill sets and ambitions and to challenge inequality in the labour market.

Once a deaf person is in employment, we can also provide further support to employees and employers, such as support in accessing DWP's Access to Work funding, employee guidance and employer/employee mentoring.

If you are an employer and would like to find out more about our Employment Service, then please contact us at employment@bid.org.uk or call us direct on 07702 532824.

For Funders

If you are a funder and would like to explore how we could deliver an employment service in your area, please email employment@bid.org.uk.

Our Employment Service is currently part funded/supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, Karten Network, Talent Match Black Country and the European Social Fund.
