Tech Together

Please note these services will commence on Wednesday 6th May 2026.

Support to get the most out of your technology

Technology can help you stay connected, shop online, get around, and enjoy the things you love. If you’re not sure where to start, our Tech Together service is here to help.

Tech Together is a volunteer‑led service supporting those with a sight impairment, dual sensory loss or those who are deafblind to build confidence using digital devices. Our friendly team provides one‑to‑one support, either at home or in the community.

We’ll match you with a volunteer based on your needs and their experience, so the support is personal, practical, and right for you.

How we can help

Our team can support you with:

  • Setting up and using smartphones, tablets or laptops
  • Turning on and adjusting accessibility settings
  • Learning how to use video calling to stay in touch with family and friends
  • Downloading apps that help with navigation, reading or daily tasks
  • Using electronic aids that can make everyday life easier

Whether you’re just getting started or want to build your digital skills further, we’ll take it at your pace.

Who can use this service?

You can access Tech Together if:

  • You are over 18
  • You have a significant sight loss  and are under a consultant ophthalmologist, or registered as sight impaired or severely sight impaired or are deafblind
  • You have access to your own equipment or daily living aids

If you’re unsure about eligibility, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to talk it through with you.
