Living with a sight impairment can sometimes feel isolating, but spending time with others can really help. That’s why we run regular coffee mornings across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. These are relaxed, friendly get‑togethers where you can chat, meet new people and feel at home.

Our coffee mornings are open to anyone with a visual impairment. Whether you come along for the conversation, the biscuits, or simply to enjoy getting out and about, you’ll always receive a warm welcome.

Why it matters

Spending time with others can make a real difference. Coming along can help you to:

• Lift your mood and build confidence at your own pace
• Feel connected and part of a welcoming community
• Share experiences with people who understand what you’re going through
• Simply brighten up your week

You’re welcome to come on your own, or bring along a friend, carer or family member if that feels easier. There’s no pressure to say or do anything, just a friendly, relaxed space to chat, laugh, and feel supported.
