Radnor Road – Supported Living

We have a 7 bedroom property in Birmingham for people who are profoundly deaf and need some level of assistance towards independent living. Adapted for deaf and hard of hearing people, the tenancy includes housing repairs and we signpost residents to other services if required. Staff supporting the homes are BSL users and the property is fully adapted for the needs of the deaf tenants.

Our flats include:

• Flashing doorbell and smoke alarm
• Security fob entry system
• Fridge, freezer, cooking and washing machine
• Single bed

Chesterberry Care Home

We offer homely, personalised care to people who are deaf with additional needs, such as learning disability, autism, mental health or deaf/blindness.

Located in the West Midlands, the home supports people to live as independently as possible, encouraging them to exercise choice and control over their lives. All residents are treated as individuals and have a person-centred support plan tailored to their specific needs.

The home has been rated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as ‘good’ in all categories and provides an environment that supports and encourages residents to engage in a range of activities.

Chesterberry offers seven bedrooms on two floors and has recently undergone a kitchen renovation offering a good-sized dining area. It also provides laundry facilities, has a large garden, Wi-Fi is throughout and a lounge for residents.

Chesterberry is close to local shops, GP surgeries, dentists and opticians. We also have good transport links including a train station located within a ten minute walk of the home. The home also operates its own 7 seater vehicle.
