Employment Service Wins PURE Awards!

Employment Service Takes Home the Trophy!

We were recently invited to the PURE Project Awards event which was held at Edgbaston Cricket Ground. This was an event to celebrate the incredible achievements of their participants, providers and partners (that includes us!). Our Birmingham Employment Team had the opportunity to attend this event to network with other organisations, receive some well-deserved awards and enjoy a delicious meal.

Our Employment Service supports people who are deaf, hard of hearing, visually impaired to gain employment and access education, training or volunteering opportunities. This can include guidance on CV writing, job applications, interview practice and more! We are very proud of this service and our efforts to help more people with disabilities into the workplace and beyond.

We are so happy to announce that our newest BSL Employment Coach, Daniel won an Outstanding Achiever Award! 🎉

Daniel used to be a client with low confidence who sought support from our Employment Service in Birmingham. After getting to know Daniel more, we saw huge potential and hired him to become part of our team. He is now independently supporting other clients into education and employment!

“Where Commitment Meets Achievement. One Team. One Vision. Award-Winning Results”

A special mention to BSL Interpreters!

We are continuously grateful for the BSL Interpreters whom we have the pleasure of working alongside at BID Services.

They attend our Job Club regularly, and were present at the PURE Awards, providing communication support for our deaf staff and clients. Thank you!
