Volunteer - Social Activities/Groups

We are very dedicated to provide the best possible service to people with sensory loss, but enable us to achieve this we need your support. We value our volunteers and if have some time on your hands and looking for a new challenge,we would like to hear form you. 

Volunteers provide support, advice,friendship and assistance where required,the community values your experience we are looking for volunteers to offer support and social activities to Visually Impaired Deaf, deafened or Hard of Hearing people and their families/carers in the Leeds area.

Our groups include Men's Group which meet fortnightly to attend various activities including bowling ,walks,trips,and a new Activities Group for both men and women.

Your contribution can make a difference and at the same time, rewarding for you. This opportunity will give you the chance to gain new skills, meet new people and develop your experience gained which might lead to a particular career.

In return you will gain the opportunity to develop your sign language skills, whilst being provided with supervision, training, expenses and a reference for the support you provide.
