Venue Manager 

Location: Birmingham  
Salary: £27,000 per annum  
Hours: Full-time,40 hours per week  
Contract Length: Permanent 

We have an exciting opportunity at our prestigious venue for a Venue Manager to join our team in Birmingham. We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated leader, who is ready to take charge as we relaunch our busy conference venue. You will work closely with sales and marketing to lead a successful venue team whilst also ensuring our charitable ethos is top of the agenda.
As part of the role you will be:

  • responsible for the customer experience of everyone that crosses our door
  • responsible for the day-to-day operational running and smooth functioning of the Signing Tree Venue and the Deaf cultural centre
  • responsible for the development and profitable running of the food and beverage and conference operation;
  • line managing DCC staff including personal performance reviews and identifying training and development needs to ensure high standards of professional practice.

To be successful for the post you will have experience in catering/venue management, experience in meeting financial targets, orders and stock control, excellent interpersonal and team management skills. This role is ideal for an organised venue or catering manager with a can do attitude.
