Team Manager  

Location: Morpeth, Northumberland/Hybrid working 
Salary: £27,425 per annum 
Hours: 37 hours per week 
Contract: Permanent 

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Team Manager to manage our well-established team that provides a high-quality service to those with a visual impairment on behalf of Northumberland County Council.

You will have experience of working with visually impaired people, experience in managing staff and a real desire to build upon the success of the team and develop the service into the future.

Ideally you have experience of genuine partnership working and have the skills and ability to develop services imaginatively and truly service user led.

The model of work will be Hybrid with a combination of working from home and having a presence in our office base in Morpeth.

The main responsibilities will be to;

  • Ensure all contractual obligations are fully met
  • To develop and lead the service, add value and genuinely engage with service users
  • Manage staff in respect of their day-to-day duties and their personal develop development
  • To ensure the service is safe and remains of a high standard
