Team Manager 

Location: Solihull/Coventry 
Salary: £26,646 pro-rata per annum 
Hours: 30 hours per week

Contract: 31 September 2024

Are you an inspirational leader? We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our teams in our Solihull and Coventry services. You will be managing a highly trained and knowledgeable team of VI and HI specialist workers delivering support to individuals with sensory loss to achieve independent and fulfilled lives, through rehabilitation/mobility training, equipment provision and care management.

Main accountabilities of the role are :

• Under the supervision of the Sensory Service Manager you will be responsible for the day to day delivery of the services
• You will be responsible for the day to day work of Enablement
• Officers in identified services and the Equipment officer in Solihull
• To ensure continuing improvement and development of the service.
• To ensure statistics are maintained to provide measurement against performance indicators and meet quality assurance requirements.

To be successful you will need to have:

• Excellent communication skills including British Sign Language (min Level2)
• Experience in working with people with a range of disabilities.
• Management experience
• Experience in delivering Information ,Advice and Guidance and VI/HI equipment linked to deaf and Hard Of Hearing people

For candidates who hold a Social Work or Rehabilitation Officer VI qualification an enhanced level of remuneration would be considered.
