Location: Leeds
Salary: £20,540
Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

We are committed to providing a first rate community based service to people living with sensory loss and have an exciting opportunity for a Sensory Support Officer to join our friendly team in Leeds.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual who can work independently to assess the housing and other needs of adult living in Leeds, supporting them to retain their independence and wellbeing. With previous experience essential in this role, you will be enthusiastic and positive with experience of managing complex caseloads, undertaking assessments, providing a range of housing interventions, as well as experience of accessing universal credits, housing welfare and personal independent payments.

If you have experience of working with people with a sensory loss, possess excellent communication skills and are a confident sign language user, then we would love to hear from you.
