Are you an experienced care worker and wish to work flexibly?

We have an opportunity for Relief Residential Support Workers to join our team in Chesterberry Residential Care home in Erdington to provide support and guidance in day-to-day life to Deaf people who may have other sensory impairments and learning disabilities, enabling residents to be as independent as they possibly can.  You will work as part of a dedicated team assisting residents to access education, leisure and recreational opportunities both at home and in the community. 

This service operates 24 hours and 7 days a week therefore you must be flexible and willing to work shifts which are outlined in the rota including weekends and nights and accompany on day trips, holidays and evening activities, to maintain the family / friend ethos in our home for life. To be successful for the post you will have experience working with sensory impaired people and it is desirable to be able to communicate in British Sign Language.

This post is a relief post working as and when required.
