Receptionist / Customer Care

Location: Birmingham
Salary: £19,463 - £20,540 pro rata per annum dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time or Part-time 
Contract Length: Permanent  

A great opportunity has opened up at our head office the Deaf Cultural Centre for a passionate, kind and caring individual to join our team in Birmingham as front of house receptionist to give our client’s confidence in our varying services as well as building relationships with key visitors and service managers.

You will be reporting to the Venue Manager and as part of the role you will be responsible for:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Administrative duties
  • Incoming and outgoing posts
  • Dealing with general enquires (the list is not exhaustive)

To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in reception work
  • BSL Level 2 skills or equivalent
  • Proactive, professional manner and positive attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT, office technology and administrative skills
