Employment Coach-Pan Disability  

Location: Birmingham 
Salary: £21,867 per annum(pro-rata for part-time)
Hours: Full-time or part-time 

We are seeking a Disability Employment Coach to join our Employment team to deliver high quality one to one pre- and post-employment support and mentoring to our inactive and unemployed service users with Sensory Impairment, Physical Disability and Long term Health Conditions.

As part of the role you will be required to support the service user’s progression using a mix of holistic support, challenge and mentoring techniques, keeping a focus on achieving sustainable employment and/or training/education at all times. Liaising with partner agencies to deliver a joined up offer. Maintain up to date records of action planning and support provided and report on monitoring information.

You will have the experience and understanding of working with people with disabilities their barriers to employment, sound knowledge of partner agencies, safeguarding and GDPR. You will be able to demonstrate excellent CV, application form and case note writing skills as well as good communication and IT skills are essential to the role. Ideally you hold an NVQ Level 3 in BSL & NVQ Level 3 or 4 Information Advice qualification/Coach Mentor qualification or be able to demonstrate the capacity to work at this level.
