Customer Service Co-ordinator

Location: Leeds
Salary: £17,490 per annum pro rata
Hours: Part time, 18.5 hours per week

We are seeking a Customer Service Co-ordinator to join our Leeds Hearing & Sight Loss Service to provide "open door" high quality services to our service users who are deaf, hearing impaired, sight impaired, severely sight impaired, deafblind or have acquired dual sensory loss.

As part of the role, you will be the main access point for our service users providing high quality information, advice and guidance on appropriate resources. Update and monitor social media platforms, maintain a pleasant environment for visitors, supporting the day to day running of the office. You will be dealing with incoming referrals, enquiries, undertaking initial assessments/risk assessments. Signpost service users to other services within Leeds Hearing & Sight Loss Service by providing them with professional information and advice. You will be responsible to carry out other general administrative duties.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with sensory impaired people and associated issues. Excellent communication, organisation, administrative and IT skills are essential including British Sign Language (Level 1 and 2) as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Some flexibility is required as the post holder will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
