Location: Leeds
Salary: 20,540 pro-rata per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term until March 2023

We provide a high quality, community based service to people who have a sensory loss e.g. Adults and young people aged 16+ who are Deaf, Hearing Impaired, sight Impaired or severely sight impaired , Deafblind or have acquired Dual Sensory Loss .

To apply for this you will have British Sign Language skills to level 3, to be able to provide a person centred service, provide information and advice on a range of topics using BSL and other appropriate modes of communication. You will be able to manage a complex caseloads, undertake assessments and re-assessments, and provide a range of housing related interventions, promote independent living by advising, informing and referring on behalf of service users assisting them to access universal credits, housing welfare, and personal independent payments.

You will have experience of working with people who have a sensory loss, and excellent communication, IT and administration skills are required for this post.
