What We Do

We provide a range of specialist support services and are continually looking for ways to improve and expand the services we offer to our clients.  We strive to put our service users at the very heart of our work.

Our work is funded through fees from local authority contracts, grants, individual funders, legacies and fundraising activities and we are always looking for new funding streams so we can expand our work. Here are just some of the activities in which we are engaged:

  • We manage a range of sensory support contracts of behalf of local authorities across the UK.
  • We are commissioned by local authorities to provide social work services covering all disciplines across children and adult services.
  • We provide British Sign Language interpreting support services and training.
  • We manage a comprehensive employment service to help deaf and hard of hearing people back into work and training.
  • We offer housing related support to enable people to maintain tenancies.
  • We run youth sports projects to get young people playing sports.
  • We offer opportunities for older deaf people to meet and socialise

You can find out about all of the services we offer by visiting the services section of the website.
