Team Manager

We are seeking a Team Manager to work within our Leeds Sensory Service funded by Leeds City Council that supports people with a sensory loss (Deaf, Hearing Impaired, Blind, Sight Impaired, Deafblind or have acquired Dual Sensory Loss and their carers).

As part of the role you will:

  • Manage a number of staff working for the Leeds Sensory Service.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day service and continuing improvement/development of the service.
  • Allocating work to staff and monitor quality assurance systems and database.

To be successful for this post:

  • You will be a highly motivated individual and you will have previous experience of operating in a similar role.
  • You will be able to communicate effectively with all people across the sensory spectrum (BSL level 2 standard and working towards BSL level 3.)
  • Be able to manage and take responsibility of managing services, which includes promotion and development.
