Senior Wellbeing Community Worker

Contract: Fixed term until August 2028

We are looking for a full time Senior Wellbeing Community Worker to join our Leeds Sensory Service on a fixed term contract to August 2028

As part of the role you will:

  • Be responsible for community-based services that offer hearing aid support, information, advice, and guidance
  • Work alongside the social worker providing direct support to services users, completing assessments, risk assessments and support plans
  • Management of staff including supervisions, training and allocating work

To be successful for this post, you will be:

  • Able to communicate effectively with all people across the sensory spectrum
  • Able to undertaking full needs-led assessments, risk assessments and support planning
  • Able to manage and take responsibility for managing services including working with partner organisations
  • Experience of providing comprehensive Information, Advice and Guidance services
  • BSL Level 3 or working towards Level 3
  • Experience of managing and supervising staff
