Relief Support Worker (Sight/Severely Sight Loss)

We are seeking passionate and empathetic individuals to work as part of the BID Services Lincolnshire Careplus team that provides a range of services to adults, children and families that have a sensory impairment and associated disabilities. As part of the role, you will support our service user who has Sight/ Severely Sight Loss to enable them and their family to live independent lives.

As part of the role you will:

• Provide companionship and assistance support
• Provide activities support with children
• Provide domestic support such as shopping
• Support with driving to appointments and daily tasks

To be successful for this post you will:

• Have experience in working with service users with a sensory impairment and associated disabilities
• Have experience in supporting friends and family
• Be able to maintain and respect confidentiality
• Be able to identify changing needs and report accordingly

This is a relief post working as and when required.
