Employer Engagement Worker

Contract: Fixed term until August 2027

We are seeking a Employer Engagement Worker to join our specialist Leeds team to promote our specialist service for sensory impaired people.

As part of the role you will:

  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders including employers, DWP Job Centre Plus and training providers in order to build and maintain relationships. Build a bank of employers willing to provide live vacancies, work placements and training opportunities.
  • Identify live job vacancies and opportunities advertised by other organisations and work with the in house employment team to ensure these job vacancies are shared with their clients.
  • Attend networking events including breakfast meetings and jobs fairs in order to promote the service.

To be successful for this post:

  • You will have excellent Communication and presentation skills
  • You are able to promote the service, and encourage organisations and sensory impaired people to access the project
  • You have the skills to work directly with sensory impaired people providing one to one support when needed.
