We are focused on improving the lives of those we support and empowering our clients’ to live independent, happy and richer lives through the support services we provide.

We want to make a difference and a fundamental part of this is to consider the needs of the client at the beginning of the process, rather than at the end. This ensures that services are tailored to the individual and closely meet their needs.

We feel we are making a significant difference in a number of key areas:

Supporting more personalised care & support

The changes taking place in our sector are providing opportunities to look for more innovative, creative ways to deliver services. Today, clients are challenging traditional models of delivery and have a much higher expectation that services will be personalised to meet their individual needs. We strongly support this philosophy and are constantly looking for new and better ways to meet clients’ needs.

Providing Employment Opportunities

Not only do we support our clients through the delivery of services, but we are actively involved in offering support to find employment and training opportunities for some of the most vulnerable people in our society. By creating a number of key partnerships with employers, local stakeholders and the DWP, we have a very successful employment programme which is helping to get deaf and hard of hearing people back into work, education, or training.

Commitment to Staff Development

We have always believed that a highly trained, professional workforce is vital to the delivery of quality services.  We place a strong emphasis on offering our staff opportunities to training, learning and development. Our commitment and approach has resulted in the creation of a highly skilled team of committed people who are passionate about their work.

Developing Partnerships

Partnership working lies at the very heart of our organisation as we recognise that the provision of high quality services is dependent on a wide variety of agencies and key stakeholders coming together to share knowledge, skills and expertise. We are proud to work in partnership with voluntary organisations, commissioners, schools, local authority and most importantly the communities we work with.

BID Services supports the social enterprise model and has established a social enterprise conference business called The Signing Tree. All of the profits from the conference centre are used to support our communities and to provide employment opportunities to those often furthest away from the labour market.
