Facebook Page Change: West Midlands Regional Page

We are planning on a major change to our BID Deaf Positive Active Facebook page. The page name will change and it will convert into our new regional page - BID West Midlands. We want your feedback on this change. Please help us by taking part in our Story Survey on our Facebook and Instagram. Keep reading below to find out more about this Facebook page change.

The new BID West Midlands page will be separate to our main BID Services Facebook page. It will be used to post and promote all our BID services within the West Midlands e.g. Birmingham, Coventry and Solihull. For more info, please check out our video below:

What are we doing?

Historically, our main BID Services Facebook page has always been associated with all our Birmingham based services. We plan to move all Birmingham based service information, along with other West Midlands service information across onto our BID Deaf Positive Active Facebook page.

This combined page will also get a new name – BID West Midlands. This renamed page will be solely dedicated to promoting our services within the West Midlands, including services in Birmingham, Coventry (Enablement Service) and Solihull (Sensory Service), as well as the services that were promoted on the BID Deaf Positive Active Facebook page.

Why are we making this change to the Facebook page?

Currently, our BID Services Facebook is mainly associated with promoting only our Birmingham based services. We would like to change this, so that our main BID Services Facebook page promotes all of our regional services, not just services in Birmingham and the West Midlands. The BID Services Facebook page will promote our services progress in all of our other regions as well, as listed below:

West Midlands Services:

 Northern Services:

Southern Services:
