Can you help replace our stolen sports equipment?

BID Services supports Birmingham’s deaf, hard of hearing and visually impaired communities and over the summer our sports shed at the Deaf Cultural Centre was broken into and most of our sports equipment was stolen. This equipment was used at events such as community days and by various groups from our Youth Club and sports service to the local Futsal Club and wider deaf community.

Amongst the stolen equipment was:
Athletics equipment (e.g. javelins, discuses)
Futsal balls
Basketball equipment
Badminton equipment (e.g. nets, shuttlecocks)
Training equipment (e.g. speed and agility ladders, cones)
Football equipment
General equipment (e.g. bean bags, hula hoops, bibs, skipping rope)
Early years equipment

Our storage shed was also damaged so we need to replace this with a more secure option. If we can we would love to purchase some additional sports equipment too so that we can offer a wider range of sports activities, from tennis to netball, and have more resources available for the local community to enjoy.

With Autumn here and activities such as Youth Club back up and running, we need to replace this equipment as soon as possible. This is where we’re hoping you can help! Please could you support us with a donation towards this new sports equipment? Any donation, however great or small, would be hugely appreciated and would make a huge difference to the local sensory impaired community.

Thank you!
