BID Services awarded new Milton Keynes Sensory Support Service

Following a competitive tendering process, BID Services has been re-awarded the contract to provide a Sensory Support Service to adults and children living in the borough of Milton Keynes who are profoundly deaf, hearing impaired, sight impaired or who have dual sensory loss.

Started on 1st April, 2018, the service will continue to be promoted under the SARC (Sensory Advice Resource Centre) brand, which has become well known in Milton Keynes. The service location has changed and is now being delivered from our new accessible centre in Gloucester House at 399 Silbury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, MK9 2AH.

SARC offers a range of services including:

  • Information, Advice & Guidance
  • Specialist assessments
  • Rehabilitation & mobility training
  • Equipment drop-ins
  • Hearing aid, tubing & minor repairs
  • Signposting to local groups.
