BID Services: Fresh Food Project

BID Services are proud to announce that we have launched a Fresh Food Project at the Deaf Cultural Centre in Birmingham. Are you Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deafblind? We are offering free hot meals at the Deaf Cultural Centre, Ladywood Road, Birmingham, B16 8SZ every Wednesday from 12pm-2pm.  Disclaimer! There is limited places, please book first. Sensory Swimming Club: BID Lincolnshire

We are proud to announce that our BID Lincolnshire service will be launching a sensory swimming club on 3rd July 2021 at the Yarborough leisure centre. The new swimming lessons are specifically aimed at and are created for children who have a sensory loss. These sessions have been kindly funded by Sport England and will run throughout the summer here at Yarborough leisure centre.  If you have a child who has a sensory loss and you feel that they can benefit from some swimming lessons over the summer, then please get in touch and we can get you signed up for our launch day on Saturday 3rd July.

Volunteers Week 2021: Making a Difference Through Volunteering

By helping others through volunteering, we too are able to #MakeADifference and improve our own wellbeing. In the spirit of #VolunteersWeek2021, we hope to promote the positive benefits that volunteering produces in our own lives, as well as the lives of the people that you help by choosing to volunteer. It is within our nature as human beings to feel good when we are given purpose, especially after helping someone out. Thus, in this article we hope to promote and explore the many positive benefits which volunteering brings to the community it serves.
