The Easing of Lockdown: The Mental Health Challenges

For many of us, we are feeling the longing and optimism that the gradual easing of lockdown brings, even with social distancing. To be able to see our friends, play sports and resume our lives with family and work.  However, for many of us this will entail adjusting to the changes the pandemic has brought in our lives. Even with the happy news in the easing of the lockdown rules, it can still be quite difficult for our mental health and for many, it will no doubt be worrying and a confusing time.

Sign Language Week

The 18th March 2003 is one of the most important dates within Sign language week, as it commemorates when the UK Government officially recognised British Sign Language as a formal language in its own right. BID Interpreting - North Yorkshire: A new interpreting service in North Yorkshire for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing

BID Services is happy to announce the launch of a new service delivering specialist interpreting support in North Yorkshire. This service is delivered in association with North Yorkshire County Council and will be available to anyone in the North Yorkshire County Council area who is Deaf, hard of hearing or who has a dual-sensory loss when using the services of the County Council.
