Access to Work (ATW) 

Access to Work (ATW) is managed by The Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) which pays for practical support to help those who need it do their job.  If you have a disability, health or mental health condition, ATW will pay for things like: 

  • Specialist equipment
  • Travel when you can’t use public transport
  • A communicator at a job interview and in the work place
  • A support worker or job coach to help you in your workplace
  • Disability awareness training for your manager and work colleagues
  • A communicator during a work experience placement (conditions apply)
