Coventry Deaf and Hearing Loss Support Service
We provide support for adults aged 18 and over living in Coventry who are d/Deaf, Deafblind or have a hearing loss.
We offer a range of support designed to help people be as independent as possible and to stay healthy. Services are delivered within the community and in your own home.
We offer one to one support through a person-centred assessment, tailored interventions to build independent living skills, and access to health and wellbeing activities and groups. We also provide information, advice and guidance needing short-term support.
This service includes
- Accessing information around benefits and debt advice
- Help with budgeting
- Tenancy support
- Staying safe in your own home
- Health and wellbeing
- Reducing isolation/accessing social groups
- Accessing information around employment, education, training and volunteering
This service is delivered by BID Services on behalf of Coventry City Council and the Integrated Care Board.
Local Information, Advice and Guidance Drop-ins
We also run Information, Advice and Guidance drop-ins for deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people living in Coventry. No appointment needed, just turn up! Please check our events page to find out when the next one will be taking place.
