Care Plus

BID’s CARE PLUS service, covering Birmingham, Solihull, Tamworth & surrounding areas aims to help deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and deafblind adults maintain independence by offering a range of support services that improve lives and enable people to live as independently as possible.

Our clients are actively involved in the planning of their care and support to ensure we meet their individual needs. We can also offer our services to private clients looking for additional support.

CARE PLUS can support people in a range of ways:

  • Support for outings, such as visiting family & friends, attending appointments, social activities
  • Going shopping for food, gifts, household goods, clothes
  • Household tasks such as doing the laundry, preparing meals, light household duties
  • Light gardening maintenance - weeding, bagging rubbish, mowing the lawn
  • Paying bills
  • Offering respite for carers
  • Providing assistance to undertake personal care
  • Companionship
