Communication covers interpreting services and training on British Sign Language (BSL) and deaf related training.
Interpreting
BID's Interepreting Service provides reliable, effective and quality communication support to Deaf people and a range of professional organisations.
All of our interpreting services are delivered by highly trained language service professionals who are sensitive and flexible to client and customer needs.
The Interpreting team cover a diverse range of appointments, bridging communication gaps between Deaf and hearing people by acting as an effective communication channel and helping establish an appropriate communication flow.

British Sign Language
We provide Signature level 1, 2 and 3 in British Sign Language (BSL) courses in BID. The courses are in partnership with Sutton Coldfield College.
BID Services offer a BSL Level 1 course for those wishing to develop conversational skills, an intermediate BSL level 2 course for those who wish to continue to develop their communication to include a range of everyday topics and a BSL level 3 course for those wishing to progress to a career within the Deaf community.
There are other courses that we do provide, these are Deaf Awareness, Introduction to Deafness and Bespoke courses.
