This change makes bid services more accessible to the diverse range of clients and the communities we work with, and allows us to support and work with a broader range of people. We provide a range of services, in the West Midlands, but also cover the whole UK in some services.
The name change will not affect any of the services we provide and bid services remains dedicated to empowering and supporting deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people.
Along with our new name there will be a new logo for the organisation and our service areas.
We have also put together a frequently asked questions (see right side) to provide you with as much information as possible and you can email our information service to find out more.

We have now officially changed name to ‘bid services’ and are launching a new brand image ready for the New Year.
Lots of work has been done on the new branding already and a new set of logos has been created for the organisation as a whole and for each of our service areas.
All of us here at ‘bid services’ are aware that you may have some questions about the changes and we want to answer them as best we can so we have put together this frequently asked questions page..

Why has bid changed name?
The name change is all about making sure we are accessible to all of our clients as we move forward as an organisation. It is important that we move with the times and the environment we work in to make sure we can continue to support our communities and broaden our areas of work so more people can benefit from the services and activities we provide.
Will any of bid’s services be affected?
No. The services we provide will remain the same and we are still very much dedicated to empowering and supporting deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people.
Why do the different service areas have their own logos now?
This is to make life as easy as possible. By giving each of our service areas their own identities you will be able to see exactly what each of our departments offer and who to contact. This will make accessing our services much easier. Each of the service areas has also been given its own ‘colour accent’ to make them easier to recognise and clearly demonstrate the services provided by each team.
When will the new brand be launched?
The logo is already being used on some of our information and new leaflets and a new look website is being created ready for the New Year. This means you might still see some of our blue and yellow ‘services with Deaf people’ information for the time being and we will continue to use these materials until all of our new information is ready.
