News — New SPA Service
From 1st October, housing related support will be provided through a Single Point of Access (SPA) for people who are sight impaired, hearing impaired or who have a physical disability.
The SPA is a referral service that provides a fast and easy route to obtaining the support you need to gain independence.
Where will the service operate from? The SPA will operate from the Deaf Cultural Centre under the management of BID Services.
If you are over 16 years old, live in Birmingham and need housing related support, please contact the SPA Housing Support Team
These services can help you to:
- Understand tenancy agreements and home ownership
- Obtain advice on money and benefits
- Get advice on health and wellbeing
- Access to activities/events to reduce isolation and loneliness
- Work towards independence
