News — Life Skills Programme – starting very soon
bid services are offering a Life Skills Programme for profoundly deaf people with additional learning needs.
Anyone over 19 years of age, who is deaf, deafened or hard of hearing, will be eligible to attend this motivating programme which will focus on a range of activities and learning that includes money management, independent living skills, healthy eating and much more.
There will be a very strong emphasis on social development and interaction with other profoundly deaf people and on empowering and supporting people to make their own decisions.
The twelve-month programme will be offered on Tuesday or Thursday and will start very soon.
