News — Introduction to Mental Health Interpreting
BID Services is pleased to offer a training day, delivered by DAS.
Saturday 16th July 2011, 10am - 4pm at the Deaf Cultural Centre
This one day workshop includes:
- Mental Health Services for Deaf people (Generic & Specialist Deaf Services)
- Assignments (Clinical, non clinical & legal)
- Role of the Interpreter
- Types of Mental illness and its effect on language
- Working with Deaf professionals
