News — Deaf people became 10 Years Younger
10 years younger is an event that aims to give information and advice to women on health issues, fashion advice, crafts and much more enabling them to look 10 years younger. The scheme is funded by the University of Birmingham’s student fundraising scheme.
The events were thoroughly enjoyed by the women, quotes ranged from ‘excellent day’, ‘will there be another one next year’ and many saying ‘enjoyed the massage.’
The 10 years younger event proved to be very popular with great activity on the wide ranging stalls providing many new ideas on how to stay young. The address by the main speaker was well attended giving the hard working stall attendants a well earned break.
Kathryn Dolby, the 10 years younger organiser said ‘Today has been a great day, I have met lots of women who have been praising the event and would like to see more or similar events in future. I would like to say thank you to the stall holders and speakers for making this event possible. I would like to also add that without the funds from the student union at Birmingham University this event would not have happened.’
