News — An opportunity to learn more about Tinnitus
The Birmingham and District Tinnitus group is hosting a general open meeting where information and support regarding tinnitus will be available. The meeting will be held in Sutton Coldfield on Friday 21st May 2010 at 2.00p.m.
This is an opportunity for people who are new to tinnitus and are seeking information and support. People who suffer with tinnitus, their families and friends are all welcome to attend. Members from the Birmingham and District Tinnitus group, who are experts in the field, will be on hand to give information and support. In attendance will be Elaine Davenport (Senior Hearing Therapist at Heartlands Hospital Hearing Services) who will be outlining the new hearing therapy/tinnitus service which was launched at Good Hope Hospital on 1st April. This service was announced during Tinnitus Awareness Week in February, the group’s President Doctor Ewart Davies, will be available to answer any questions concerning tinnitus or current tinnitus research.
Tea and coffee will be provided and the group are more than happy to welcome anyone into the session.
The meeting will be held at Duke Street Chapel, Duke Street, (off Birmingham Road) Sutton Coldfield B72 1RJ. Duke Street runs along side the Cottage Hospital. If you want more information you can contact Eric Trowsdale on 0121 355 1496.
