People happy to Sign Up!

BID Services with Deaf Peoples’ latest round of British Sign Language (BSL) courses have been filled continuing the success of the charity’s Sign Up! campaign.

BID has been working hard to promote the continued learning of BSL through out the West Midlands and recently organised a series of taster sessions that took place at the Deaf Cultural Centre during Deaf Awareness Week.

“The sessions went really well.  We had a good mix of people from different backgrounds and everyone was interested to learn.” Said BID’s Marketing, Campaigns and PR Manager Anthony Beeby.

The rapid response to BID latest selection of taster courses and the recent enrolment drive shows how popular learning sign language is becoming.

Although the current courses are now full BID will be organising more taster sessions in the near future and will soon be announcing enrolment dates for the September intake of level one and two courses.
