BID Deaf Awareness Week Events Announced

Deaf Awareness Week 2008 runs from  5th to 11th May and organisations working with Deaf people across the country are inviting everyone to 'Look At Me'.  The theme aims to improve understanding of the different types of deafness by highlighting the many different methods of communication used by deaf, deafened, deafblind and hard of hearing people, such as sign language and lipreading.

BID Services with Deaf People are proud to be taking part and will be inviting people to a range of events held at the Deaf Cultural Centre in Birmingham, but also around the country with it's partners in other locations.
