ASDA's £500 donation helps Deaf adults with additional learning disabilities

Thanks to a generous donation from ASDA Small Heath, BID Services will be able to continue running its weekly specialist Life Skills Group, which supports 20 deaf adults with additional learning disabilities.  The Group is wholly funded by grants and donations and provides an accessible and supportive environment where deaf adults can develop essential life skills. It also supports their socialisation by reducing isolation and enabling them to participate in a range of activities within a deaf friendly setting.

If you would like to know more about how you can support the group, or you know someone who would benefit from joining the group, please contact Michelle Williams, Head of Community Development and Engagement on telephone 0121 246 6100 or email: michelle.williams@bid.org.uk

The Life Skills group relies on donations to keep it running.
