Working within the community, we are looking for interpreters and translators to join a bank of workers on a freelance basis to provide linguistic support to our clients whose first language is not English.
Urdu, Somali, Punjabi, Bengali, Polish, Farsi, French, Kurdish, Arabic, Romanian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Pushto, Portuguese, Russian, Slovakian, Czech plus other selected languages.

Salary: £15.00 per hour
Applicants should hold relevant industry qualifications and be willing to undertake a competency test. Previous experience of working as an interpreter is essential.
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of the way languages are used by native speakers and cultural background. Additionally, the role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to exercise sensitivity and maintain confidentiality in delivery of the role.
Candidates will need to be flexible, motivated and well organised.
