We are seeking to recruit Relief Deaf Care Community workers to join our Deaf Care Team.

Birmingham and Solihull
(Relief Contract as and when required)
£7.00 per hour
The post involves working on an as and when basis, therefore work is not guaranteed. You will provide care/support to service users’ to maintain independent living within the community.
If shortlisting of applicants is necessary we will use the essential criteria in the person specification.

Requirements
You will be required to work within a patch based system and you may on occasions be required to cover other areas of Birmingham and Solihull.
The successful applicants will be expected to work with a wide range of service users (Children & Adults) across the range of deafness who may also have a visual impairment, mental health issues, a physical or learning disability or challenging behaviours. You will have the skills to communicate with a wide variety of service users in their preferred mode of communication wherever possible.
British Sign Language to a level I standard & be working towards level 2 standard is essential
