Current Projects  European Projects

BID Services has involvement in a range of European projects. Our most recent projects include Game On Extra Time and Recall. The projects will help people with learning difficulties and sensory disabilities develop new skills through e-learning.

In each project a series of downloadable e-games are produced to develop key skills around numeracy, literacy and employability. These games allow the players to build their skills in fun and challenging contexts while they develop.

Here’s a little bit more information on our current projects.

Recall

Recall will offer new opportunities to learners with a range of disabilities (learning, sensory and physical), and to their teachers/trainers and parents/caregivers. It will help them to reconnect with learning and employment opportunities, and to access public services whilst developing skills that are critical to their safety in doing so by combining location based services with games based learning.

Game On Extra Time

‘Game On Extra Time’ is a continuation of the Game On project led by Nottingham Trent University in which a series of web based computer games to develop literacy and numeracy skills are being developed.

Our role in Game On Extra Time is to help develop the curriculum by focussing on the creation of meaningful and suitable training to match the needs of students and the realities in the work place.
